Families are paired with a team of professional designers, carpenters and special guest artists. Everyone works together to create simple solutions to everyday home challenges and design dilemmas. Ali also shows off some of her amazing cooks skills and recipes from her ‘Food for Life’ cookbook.

When asked if Ali implements the same lifestyle at home, she said “I’m a laid back person, and I like to make things as easy as possible. When it comes down to putting your priorities in order, you want to have your workflow, your home, or an environment that’s comforting. Easy and not stressful. And at the same time making it your own. You should make your environment feel good, and not stressed when you walk in the door. That doesn’t mean that you have to spend a lot of money and time. That’s what the show is all about. Showing people how to transform their spaces, freshen up their spaces and give them tips to make things easier and comfortable. That’s what I love about the show.”
